Competition Rules

- Introduction
Welcome to Smartee Competitions.
These Competition Rules govern all competitions operated by Smartee Competitions. By entering any competition, you confirm that you have read, understood and agree to these Competition Rules.
The Promoter is Smartee Competitions.
- Eligibility
2.1. All entrants must be at least 18 years of age at the time of entry.
2.2. By entering a competition, you confirm that all information you provide is true, accurate and complete.
2.3. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to request proof of identity, age and address before awarding any prize.
2.4. Employees, contractors and anyone directly involved in the operation of Smartee Competitions may not enter competitions unless otherwise stated.
2.5. Entries that do not comply with these Competition Rules may be disqualified.
- How to Enter
3.1. Select the competition you wish to enter.
3.2. Choose the number of entries you wish to purchase.
3.3. Complete the checkout process.
3.4. Once payment has been successfully processed, your ticket number(s) will be allocated automatically.
3.5. Every competition also offers a free postal entry route. Please see our Free Entry Policy page for full details.
- Ticket Numbers
4.1. Ticket numbers are allocated automatically.
4.2. Customers cannot choose their own ticket numbers.
4.3. Ticket numbers cannot be transferred, exchanged or sold.
- Competition Closing Date
5.1. Every competition has an advertised Closing Date and Live Draw Date.
5.2. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to close a competition early if all available entries have been sold.
5.3. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to extend any competition if less than 80% of the available entries have been sold by the advertised Closing Date.
5.4. Any revised Closing Date or Live Draw Date will be published on the Website.
- Winner Selection and Notification
6.1. Winners will be selected using a random number generator during the advertised live draw.
6.2. The draw will take place on the published Draw Date unless the competition has been extended in accordance with these Competition Rules.
6.3. Winners will be contacted using the email address and/or telephone number provided when entering the competition.
6.4. The winning ticket number may also be published on the Website and our official social media channels.
6.5. Winners may be required to provide proof of identity before any prize is awarded.
- Prizes
7.1. The prize for each competition will be clearly displayed on the competition page.
7.2. Cash prizes will normally be paid by bank transfer.
7.3. Physical prizes will normally be delivered within 28 days of successful winner verification.
7.4. Prizes are non-transferable and no cash alternative will be offered unless stated otherwise.
7.5. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to substitute a prize with another prize of equal or greater value if circumstances beyond our control make this necessary.
- Free Postal Entry
8.1. Every competition includes a free postal entry route.
8.2. Full instructions for free postal entries are available on our Free Entry page.
8.3. Free postal entries have the same chance of winning as paid entries.
- Payments and Refunds
9.1. All payments must be completed successfully before entries are confirmed.
9.2. Once payment has been successfully processed, competition entries are final and cannot be cancelled or refunded, except where required by applicable law.
9.3. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order where fraudulent or suspicious activity is suspected.
- Fraud and Disqualification
10.1. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to refuse entries or disqualify any entrant who breaches these Competition Rules.
10.2. Any attempt to manipulate, interfere with or unfairly influence a competition may result in immediate disqualification.
10.3. Fraudulent entries will be void.
- Privacy
11.1. Smartee Competitions is committed to protecting your personal information.
11.2. Personal data will be collected, stored and processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data protection laws.
11.3. By entering a competition, you agree to the processing of your personal information for the purpose of administering competitions and awarding prizes.
- Limitation of Liability
12.1. Nothing in these Competition Rules excludes or limits liability where it cannot legally be excluded or limited.
12.2. Smartee Competitions shall not be responsible for any technical failures, interruptions, delays or errors beyond its reasonable control that affect participation in a competition.
12.3. Smartee Competitions shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from participation in any competition, except where required by applicable law.
- Changes to Competitions and Rules
13.1. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to amend these Competition Rules where reasonably necessary.
13.2. Any material changes will be published on the Website before taking effect.
13.3. Smartee Competitions reserves the right to cancel, suspend or amend any competition where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control.
- Governing Law
14.1. These Competition Rules shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Scotland.
14.2. Any disputes arising in connection with these Competition Rules shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts.
